Last month (May 09) we contacted many of our suppliers and other businesses to see if someone might be interested in partnering with us.
No bites.
We figure with increased pressure on time and dollar, businesses are focusing on sales sales sales. However, to survive it all as a small business you have to partner or else you just can't leverage like the big businesses.
We are looking for businesses interested in the following ideas:
- Providing informative articles to newsletter subscribers. Perhaps you are an expert on colour matters, or new trends for next season. We can use this content to provide our newsletter subscribers with some "expert" content and you get a byline to promote your company. We are also looking for other newsletters to post our content to and receive a link to our website.
- Providing or swapping prize offerings relating to home decorating. Perhaps you are a soft furnishing company and can offer a pillow set to one of our readers. You receive your company logo as the supplier of prize. We are also keen to offer decal prizes to other businesses.
- Joint trade show and expo stand opportunities.
- Other cross promotional ideas.
